2025 TSN Conference

The 2025 TSN Conference, themed “Organizational Wellness and Equity: A Journey Towards Decolonization and Reclaiming Values,” brought together sector staff to reimagine organizations as places of wellness, justice, and joy.

The day opened in ceremony with Knowledge Carrier Jode Kechego, followed by remarks from Mayor Olivia Chow and TSN President David Reycraft, and a keynote from Dr. Prentiss Dantzler. Workshops explored decolonized staff care, Black wellness, occupational therapy approaches, and organizational culture.

Rooted in connection and ceremony, the conference inspired participants to continue advancing decolonization and building equitable, values-driven workplaces.

2024 conference

The 2024 TSN Conference, themed “Innovative Partnerships and Projects: A Collaborative Approach to Addressing Homelessness,” brought together professionals from across sectors to explore new, integrated solutions to homelessness in Toronto.

Featuring keynote addresses from Dr. Naheed Dosani and Robin Mazumder, as well as remarks from Mayor Olivia Chow and Gord Tanner, the conference emphasized the vital role of collaboration, innovation, and frontline shelter workers. Guided by Traditional Knowledge Carrier Alita Suave, the day included diverse workshops offering practical strategies for sustainable change.

The conference underscored that lasting impact on homelessness requires collective action and cross-sector partnership.
